I have worked too much to do much writing in the last week. However, I found a series called Lunch Poems on youtube and have been watching poetry readings on my tv using chromecast.

I had some success.  I caught up with the videos on How Writers Write Poetry  I managed to convert some of my work from my old WP files done on my first computer, a 286.  I found an online venue Hello Poetry for sharing poems and posted 2 poems.  I also shared a poem on Facebook.  I exchanged some Facebook messages with my former writing coach.  I wrote a new poem, How to be Smooth.  I dug out my old binders, journals, poetry collections.

I have started this blog in order to participate in the Round of Words in 80 days.   I'm starting late.  My goals are modest.  I plan to join the in progress How Writers Write Poetry by the Writing University.  My first goal is to catch up on the videos.  Then I plan to do the writing exercises which accompany the weekly lessons.
